Christmas 2013

What greeted me Christmas Eve morning when I came out to the living room!
 My Animal Totem.  Love it!

12-24-13 - Ted in his new sweater.  He left for Tacoma at 10 AM for xmas eve brunch with extended family, and stayed over for Christmas morning with his nieces & nephew and their little ones.  I had to stay home because of TJ's asthma attacks.

12-25-13 - Ted arrived back home at 2 PM, just in time for the dinner buffet at the casino with Diane and Jerry, who picked us up at 4 PM.  We ate way too much, so buffets are out from now on. :-)

All 3 cats around the Christmas tree.  The new one sure looks real.

Thanksgiving & Birthday 2013

11-13-13 - Ted's first Highland Hills Maintenance Commission Annual Member's Meeting since being elected President last January.  Looks like he's going to be "re-elected" again in Jan. 2014.  It's a lot of extra work, hopefully for only 1 more year.

11-28-13 - We were waiting for Diane & Jerry Hayman to pick us up for our annual Thanksgiving Dinner out and Ted took some pictures.  I seem to be lost in thought or something.

I was on my way downstairs to bring up some Christmas decorations when I spotted this single rose on my rosebush.  It was a shock because the deer love to eat the roses.  Figured it must be my "Birthday Rose", so I brought it in.

Sunday, 12-1-13 - My birthday flowers from April and Ted.

12-27-13 - Pretty Fall Pictures

Captured this beautiful sunset on the way home from dinner.
Enlarge the pictures to get the full effect.

This carpet of fall leaves was so pretty I just had to take a picture (from the deck outside my bedroom suite).

Walked down the deck to Ted's suite and took these pictures.  More pretty fall colors.

10-25-13 - Tasha, Tory & Nina Visit

Friday 10-25-13 - Tory had business in the area so Tasha and Nina came along to spend the time visiting with us.  Nina was about 4 weeks old.

I love these pictures of the "New Mom & Dad" in action above, and very proud and happy Mom & Dad below.  Note the angel right behind Tasha's head.

It has been a long time since we held a baby this tiny.  Actually 26 years ago when my granddaughter Megan was born.

Found the picture of Ted and Megan.  She was born 12-20-87.

Below is Megan's High School Graduation picture.
They grow up so fast!

10-21-13 - Kitty Antics

Izzibell busy "covering up" Ted's empty dinner plate.

Picture above is TJ thinking about jumping from Ted's car to mine.  Below is a rare picture of Izzibell (on the left) exploring the garage with TJ (who loves the garage).

8-8-13 - Luther's Visit

Father and son watching sports on TV, and enjoying the views at Lake Crescent below.

Our trip to Cape Flattery included this beautiful walk through the forest to get to the viewing platform.  I love all the angels surrounding Luther in above picture.

It was very foggy at the platform, so I went on-line and found a good picture of the island we were trying to see, and the lighthouse on it.

On Tuesday 8-13-13 I took Luther down to play pickle ball with me and the "Sequim Picklers".  It was a fun day, and Luther really enjoyed it.

7-26-13 - Cuttysark Nautical Appraisers

7-21-13 - Ted's good friend Vern Lee and his wife Bunny came for a nice visit.

7-26-13 - Cuttysark Nautical Appraisers Roger Ottenbach and his daughter Jenn Dery began their appraisal of Ted's vast collection.  They finished up 9-19-13.  Roger came  back 12-14-13 to take his first car load back to Seattle to sell.  He is coming back after the first of the year with a truck for the next load.

They had several deer peering in through the windows downstairs to see what was going on.  This one decided to rest in the shade for awhile.

Birthdays & Christmas 2012

TJ checking out the flowers April sent to me for my birthday on December 1st.

Some Christmas decorations on the mantle.

TJ and Izzibell helping us open our presents.

Ted pretty happy with his big present this year!

The owl for the front porch is my "big" present.  I really like him!

My new heart vase and little bark owl, and Ted enjoying his new throw blanket.  It gets chilly in the evenings when we're watching TV.
