Steel Beam Day 1-20-09
Tuesday, 1-20-09 - Saw the steel beam truck drive by at 8:00 a.m. and jumped in my pickup to follow them up the hill. Very dicey drive up that hill; wouldn't have made it without the 4-wheel drive. Picture above is 1st beam being placed at 8:30 a.m. Picture below is last beam going in at 9:30 a.m. All the fog in the valley moved up the hill.
The two pictures below are the last beam being placed, but the frozen ground gave me the opportunity to capture the moment from a different angle. Cool shots with the sun coming up and shining through the fog. The basement is all enclosed now.
